What is there to say but say "Hello"? My name is Joel, I'm 18. I refuse to blow my image out of proportion, but I describe myself as a paradox in this world. I love as I hate, I hope as I despair, and what I am is what you ask of me.

What sets me apart is that as people come and go in others' lives, I stay true to the fact that I stay there.

People have tried to kill me before, with things like knives, chairs, pieces of metal, and once a gun.

I love reading (lots of horror and suspense, but really I like anything I get my hands on), sushi, japanese culture, movies (of course), staring at the stars, walking around at night (hehe), surfing the net, and just plain ol' talking. I also hike a bit, and from time to time bike.

People like to call me a hopeless cause, but I like to call myself a chance to actually accomplish something :).

When I get the money, I'll be trading in my car for a motorcycle, for all intents and purposes that my car can't get crap worth of mileage :).

I don't shop much for clothes, I never did understand the fad of needing clothes to be what you are.

The kinds of music I listen to is pretty much everything other than Polka and 99.9% of Country. However, I've been listening to things like Nox Arcana and My Dying Bride.
