One of my great pleasures in life is making people laugh. I'm easily amused, and I'm pretty easily made happy. I enjoy simple things in life. A good joke can cheer me up from almost anything. However I can be semi-serious -- I can sit through a news program and actually be interested (even if i swear i've seen this episode the last 3 days in a row...) i am interested in politics, and I love to debate, sometimes just for the sake of it.

I like doing anything from just chilling at home in front of the TV, to going to concerts, to just about anything you can come up with. I have a fascination with all things creepy and/or macabre, an endless supply of useless knowledge, and frequent bouts of random silliness. i also like to smoke various, um, green things... *cough*

Music is one of my passions. I play the electric bass. I've always got music of some kind playing, I can't live without a constant soundtrack. Whether it be industrial, metal, punk, grunge, classic rock, or any of a large array of things in between and beyond. I love to write -- fiction, poetry, essays, opinion pieces, journal entries, whatever. I love fish. the aquarium kind, not the edible kind. although i like the edible kind as well, my point is that i love aquariums and i like to keep fish tanks with tropical fish in them.

Something else I'm quite enthralled with is body modification -- piercings, tattoos, scarification and other body-mods. I've currently got large-guaged earlobes, a pierced nose and some tattoos, and i do plan on adding to my collection of body art.

People who take themselves too seriously make me ill -- if you're under the delusion that life is very serious business, I cannot be held responsible for 360-degree head-spinning or spontaneous projectile green pea soup in your general direction...
