| I Would Describe Myself As | I am a musician. Music is my greatest passion. I began voice at 3, violin and organ at 8, double bass at 12, and electric bass and piano at 18. I toured to Washington D.C. at 15, and China at 18 with the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra. Then, to Indianapolis, to perform in the National Orchestra of America competition where Mt. Lebanon High School won in String, Symphony, and Chamber Orchestra categories. I was principal double bassist from 7th grade when I began all the way up to my senior year of high school. I went on to win the Senior Concerto Competition, and performed the Koussevitsky Concerto. I was principal double bassist at the District, Western Regional, and All-State Orchestra levels at 17. I am currently the Principal Double bassist of Undercroft Opera, a local opera company in the culture district of Pittsburgh. |
