I'll just begin by saying that I'm not cool. Very much a nerd. I really don't sit well with the over-the-top machismo crap. But, I am a man. I enjoy being one. Looking for an intellectual girl who is aggressive towards life. One who speaks her mind and goes for what she wants. I want to give life the best shot I can. I should point out that I very much would like to have a child of my own. I don't care if you have kids, but I still want my own.

A little about me: 34, manage a homeless shelter, and steadily battle sanity. It's a full time job, sanity. During my off time I listen to music, read, write, babble to those who would listen, and once in a great while, I skate. My entire life has been an experiment of boundaries. Every single chance I get, I make an attempt to push myself further than before.

If you are someone who sits around all day with a phone in your hand, texting ten people at once, you may not be who I am looking for. If you love everything from Classical to Metal, that's a good start. Or, if you like hiking, camping, travelling, walking aimlessly, driving aimlessly, then you are a perfect match for me.

Just don't lie to me, and seriously, I don't care about your last boyfriend who was a jerk. I'm not. My last girlfriend was a jerk, too. I just choose not to allow ***holes to take up space in my mind. So don't step into anything with me if you are still dragging your problems around. Only once we choose to embrace the chaos, can we finally move on. I have found that many things in life should be taken serious, but, even more that should be taken with a s**t-eating grin and your head in a whirl.Sometimes a moment of peace, other times too fast you can't catch your bearings.
