Hello hello!

I hail from Alaska, land of mountains, bears and mosquitoes the size of birds. I hiccup randomly (just once or twice), and I've recently developed a taste for accordion music. When it starts to snow I'll be out the door and frolicking in minutes, even at 3AM. Conversations over hot chocolate, about metaphsyics, vinyl records, foreign places or some fact gleaned from wikipedia can make my day.

On a typical Friday night I might be hosting a wine and scrabble night, in the crowd at a concert, hosting dinner, or on occassion just wandering.

Things I am good at:
Smilling, befriending strangers, driving a stick shift, dying hair, making really good vegan cheesecake (though I'm not actually vegan, go figure)

I am studying film making and Italian. I occassionally go on painting and reading binges (not usually at the same time) where I'll ignore pretty much everything and one untill I've run out of paint or pages. I've begun to line the walls of my apartment with polaroid pictures, it sure is a shame they've discontinued production of the film. I like making mix CDs for people, but secretly feel like a failure because I'm making CDs instead of tapes. Everyonce in a while my roommate and I go roast marshmallows by the river on my tiny little disposable grill, you're never too old for smores.
