Meeting early at a quiet, cheap bar for a nice glass of cabarnet sauvignon or a hefeweizen and then heading for a quick bite to eat at a restaurant that is new to both of us, somewhere with a great salad, or anything with truffle oil, that is vegetarian friendly with good ambiance. If it's warm out a nice stroll while we digest our food and rate the restaurant. As much as I love night clubs I don't think that is the best way to get to know someone, so I would prefer a movie- something foreign, so we can pretend we understand french or italian. And then after that we would stop for another drink, maybe a martini, and discuss the film.
